If you have ever visited my blog, then you know I am a huge fan of
Heidi Swapp and Teresa Collins!
I love them both.
They each have their own unique style and wonderful products but they are very different from each other.
This past Wednesday, Heidi Swapp posted a new video on My Craft Channel.
She added a new twist on the old "back to back" binding technique.
She added more pages and then made a Mod Podge spine.
It was designed to be a cake stand piece.
Watch the video here.
Since you know I have this terrible addiction to making mini albums, then
of course, you know I had to make one!
I also needed to create one more design piece for this month to take to
Scrapping in the City.
I only had one problem...
Our Micheal's doesn't have any of the current Heidi Swapp paper pads.
Scrapping in the City usually has some Heidi Swapp product but
they did not have any of her new paper lines.
What they do have is the brand new line
by Teresa Collins
"Hello, My Name Is"
So, here is what you get when a Heidi Swapp idea meets Teresa Collins papers...
First, you get a big mess on my work table!!
So there you have it, another mini!
I will post more photos of the finished album later.
In the words of Heidi Swapp,
Go make pretty stuff!

So, here is what you get when a Heidi Swapp idea meets Teresa Collins papers...
First, you get a big mess on my work table!!
Then, second, you get a really cute mini album!
This mini is no where near finished,
but I can't wait to get busy fill it with tabs,
stickers, photos and of course, lots Heidi Swapp of banners!
Oh and just so you know...
Stampin' Up ink color Cherry Cobbler matches the Teresa Collins red perfectly!
It works great on Heidi Swapp's Color Magic ephemera set too,
tying all of it together beautifully!
I really love the Mod Podge spine idea too.
I may be doing this technique on all my back to back albums from now on.
Even if I cover the spine, it seems to be stronger and it holds together beautifully!
I will post more photos of the finished album later.
In the words of Heidi Swapp,
Go make pretty stuff!
